« My artwork is a representation of how I see the world. People who see my artwork are one step closer to understanding me as an artist. »
Stephen Moody’s encompasses the spectrum of life, from the innocence of childhood to the beauty of dance and the passion of romance. The award-winning American artist’s roots lie in photography, which he says helped him to have a solid understanding of light. The direction, style, and intensity of light influences all of his works, creating an unmistakable ambiance. Moody sketches out each of his paintings using transparent oxidized red oil paint, then completes the piece with colored oils.
