Stephen Schubert is an experienced US painter with works held in private collections worldwide. Using a variety of materials from foam, rags, wooden boards and spackle knives, Schubert applies up to 15 layers of paint to his canvas. His work is inspired by Japanese gardens and their principal of balance. His work is colorful, textural and full of light.
