Steve Lyons is an established American artist who has widely exhibited his work nationally. Most often creating through concept and metaphor, his primary goal is to translate the energy of a subject through color and textured dimensionality. He composes paintings that showcase a sculptural quality, as well as impressive tactility and rhythm. Lyons achieves this dimensional effect through a reinvented 15th century Impasto technique.
