« I am particularly enthralled by the concept of height, the nearness of large cloud masses, and the wonderful patterns within the landscape made apparent through altitude. »
Steven Heyen is a prizewinning artist from Australia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Growing up with parents who were artists, Heyen created from a young age and developed his current style in landscape, aviation art, and abstract expressionist work. Painting primarily in oil on canvas, his work is characterized by soft color palettes of earth tones and a great attention to light and shadows.
