Based in Ireland, Studio Kinnard was founded by industrial designer Barry Todd in 2020. Inspired by the Irish countryside, he also cites a love of working with his hands as being the impetus behind his creative practice. Todd is particularly fascinated by joinery techniques in woodworking. He exclusively employs sustainably sourced native hardwoods in his designs, with a preference for the pale and open grain of ash.
