Suh Hee Su

Suh Hee Su is a Seoul-based sculptor and visual artist working primarily with ceramics, installation, and hanji paper, grounded in extensive craft and art therapy training. Her innovative techniques involve tearing and layering sheets of traditional Korean hanji to create textured reliefs, and wrapping clay with hand-crafted bandages to preserve both form and memory. Through her evocative bandage motif, she conveys the complex journey from injury and vulnerability toward gradual healing, enveloping viewers in feelings of warmth, resilience, and quiet hope.
