Sylvie Adams is an established Canadian artist with international exposure. Her acrylic on canvas abstract paintings are explorations of the artist’s subconscious and the amalgamation of all that it encounters. Her works often evoke duality; light versus dark, monochrome versus color, softness versus violence. There is always an opposition of spontaneity and control present on her colorful, gripping canvases.
