Canada
Sylvie Lambert primarily works with paint, blending acrylics with sculptural materials such as wood and OSB, drawing on a strong artistic family influence. She develops an intuitive and evolving approach, navigating between abstraction and figuration, where gesture takes precedence over the pursuit of perfection. Her style explores the memory of hardship and resilience: she deconstructs the human figure to reveal the luminous strength that emerges from our fractures. Her work is both moving and inspiring, carrying a message of hope, reconstruction, and introspection on our own inner scars.
