Sylvie Schepens

Sylvie Schepens, a French visual artist trained in digital art and at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, practices a hybrid painting style that blends digital techniques, gestural painting, and unexpected materials such as minerals and makeup. She explores lyrical abstraction and abstract photography, and creates installations using recycled elements. Her works, poised between pixel and matter, resonate with the boundary between the visible and the invisible, seeking to reconnect the viewer to their deepest humanity and to evoke immediate, visceral emotions, devoid of narrative explanation.
