Teo Soos is a prize-winning Romanian painter who has exhibited her works nationally and internationally. Since she has lived by the sea her entire life, water is present in most of her pieces. Teo Soos describes her art as being both figurative and abstract, as well as being more intellectual than spontaneous; the concept behind each piece is very important to her. A maximalist by nature, many of her compositions are mixed media.
Teo Soos is a complete artist, but she is also a well-established visual artistic figure on the Romanian art scene. She is a cultural manager and promoter for the children books illustrations market, she is part of the jury in Art Festivals, and she also coordinates workshops (fashion design and books illustrations).
