Thea Vos is a Dutch artist whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Belgium. She describes her artistic process as "the search for what is real and what has been learned or imposed". Vos' fascination with emotion is evident in her distinctive figurative compositions. For her, emotion is a universal fact, "independent of culture, race, and zeitgeist". She creates intuitively using acrylics and charcoal on canvas.
