« There is the image, the once and for all, the poetics of the date, and the secret of the encounter. -Jacques Derrida »
Thibaud Thiercelin is a painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally and in the United States. He characterizes his art as being a dreamlike, expressionist, and colorful figuration, where painting and drawing meet. Though his works, Thiercelin explore themes relating to the lonely figure, space, chronic perspectives, childhood, nomadic walls, and his own life experiences. He primarily creates with oils on canvas.
