« Beauty is a feeling. »
Todd Mires believes that art is striving for a significant form. If this is fully achieved, art can provoke a 'sense of communion' with the viewers. Mires perpetually works to capture this significance. His artistic style is a blend of modern, abstract-expressionism, and minimalism. Working in his preferred medium of acrylics on stretched canvas, he creates non-objectively as his compositions are not intended to be representational.
