« My work is inspired by nature and the history of the land. I strive to create peaceful artworks with an underlying story that the viewer can connect with on an emotional level. »
Through various series, Toni Kingstone portrays peaceful landscapes with hidden forms. The artist, who resides in New Zealand, also features native birds and women in her works, inspired by ancient myths and the legends of a specific place. Kingstone is currently working on compositions that explore social issues. She creates using acrylics with brushes and palette knives, as well as charcoal, resin, and mixed media.
