Vítor Pisco
Portugal
Vítor Pisco, passionate about drawing and painting, expands his artistic practice with the traditional Alentejo pottery of São Pedro do Corval. His style, influenced by Surrealism and Expressionism, utilizes acrylic paints on canvas and exudes an abstract maturity marked by intense, gestural brushstrokes. His works, full of emotional depth and personal touches, serve as a canvas for his emotions, memories, and introspections, vividly exploring his inner world.
Artist Biography (poetic version)
Born in the warm, sunlit lands of Alentejo, Vítor Pisco transforms memory and emotion into color, texture, and rhythm. His paintings are poetic reflections of southern Portugal—fields, light, solitude, and the quiet persistence of life. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, Pisco combines expressionist intensity with surrealist imagination, crafting images that seem to emerge from both dream and reality.
