Vincent Messelier is a painter, photographer, and printmaker based in Belgium whose works have been exhibited in Spain, Brazil, the United States, Italy, and France. His distinctive compositions are inspired by music, legends, the universe, spirituality, travel, nature, and animals. Using palette knives, Messelier has developed his own style, which he refers to as "meridianism", due to the horizontal and vertical lines and stripes in his pieces that symbolize the world's meridians.
