German photographer Volker Schrank, born in 1965, lives and works in Stuttgart. He studied photography in Kassel, Dortmund (Germany) and Limerick (Ireland) from 1989 to 1997. In addition to his artistic work, he teaches as a lecturer at universities and is the co-founder of the Stuttgarter Fotosommer.
