« My paintings help me grow in life and find the answer to “I am..." »
Wan Yang is an emerging Chinese artist whose works have featured in prizes, exhibitions and publications in China and the US. She sees painting as an extension of her body and creates to explore the world, employing themes such as the impermanence of time and the ambiguity of dimension. Her body of work sits somewhere between reality and fiction, an example of abstraction free from rational regulation. Yang ultimately captures emotions in a 2D form.
