« The intent of my work has been for the viewer to “fall in and drown in the work” and see things beyond the surface of the paintings. »
Canadian painter Wayne Boucher has exhibited work in Thailand, Germany, and throughout Canada. Boucher's artistic process is like a dance of paint, movement, and intent. He tries to convey a sense of x-ray vision, a depth of feeling and space inspired by Canada's aboriginal artists. The resulting abstract works are deeply evocative, a thrilling combination of soft dispersed colors contained and facilitated by electrically rendered lines.
