WILLIAM MARCHEVAL

William Marcheval shapes his work at the heart of a living memory. Born in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, nurtured by a childhood and youth spent on the banks of its gentle, languorous, wild Dordogne River, he now creates in Nîmes. His atypical career path has taken him through economics, military service, and then information technology. From these experiences, he retains a great rigor and an intimate knowledge of the digital matrix, ultimately choosing painting as a vital necessity and a space for absolute sharing.

He created Les Mondes Sensibles, a visual saga in two cycles:
✔️ Mental Totemism: A mythopoetic pantheon where our contemporary flaws become sacred.
✔️ Murmur of the World: Reality transfigured into tender, warm and poetic images.

His practice defies all technical boundaries. Acrylic, watercolor, oil, pastel, and inks: he uses a multitude of mediums to connect souls. Each canvas is an outstretched hand, a shared memory, a visceral art that speaks directly to the heart.
