Xian Tao

Xian Tao is an artist based in China whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally and in Singapore. As she believes that the world is virtual, it is through the material world that we see the manifestation of the inner-self. Consequently, through her art, Tao endeavors to present both "life change and uncertainty". Her distinctive figurative compositions are created digitally to restructure the image, "as if the painting plane becomes a malfunctioning screen".
