« Matter becomes spirit and awaits its present to return to matter. »
Gianluigi Filippini, stage name Jeanfilip.
An artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Scotland, the United States, Denmark, Spain, Romania, Germany, and Switzerland. His works are abstract-informal, the result of extensive research, starting with classical drawing. His strength lies in color, and his forms are drawn from the world around him.
Jeanfilip prefers to create with acrylics, oils, gesso, resin, and enamel on wood or canvas and recycled materials. "The material enters the spirit and awaits its present to return to matter."
In recent years, she has been actively involved with volunteer organizations through workshops and masterclasses, both online and in person. Painting and drawing lessons for children and young people traumatized by war, offering moments of joy and distraction, to alleviate trauma. Art Therapy...
