Painting is, for me, a way of inhabiting the world. The need to paint has always accompanied my gaze. Long before it was an artistic practice, painting became a way of listening to silence, of capturing light, of preserving a fleeting emotion. It is a language that allows me to approach what cannot be expressed otherwise. My training at the Beaux-Arts, supplemented by courses taken in England, gave me a solid foundation. Yet, I believe my true learning has been built over the years, through observation, travel, daily work, and self-doubt. I paint not to tell the story of the world, but to reveal what remains when only light, silence, and presence remain. I hope that everyone can freely enter my paintings, without needing explanation, and find something personal within them.
