Michèle D. is a self-taught painter who discovered her passion in retirement, using gouache, oil, dry pastels, and natural pigments to celebrate the beauty of the world. She draws inspiration from Japanese art as well as artists like Turner and Marquet, favoring paintings based on photographs and exploring the interplay of light in nature. Through her gently serene landscapes, she seeks to convey a profound admiration for the natural elements and the poetry of captured moments.
