Mike Baran is a versatile artist from Munich who primarily creates his works as digital collages and brings a rich background in design, theater, and film. He digitally combines classic collage techniques on the computer with a sophisticated interplay of black and white and vibrant color; his works always show two sides of the same coin – opulence and decay. His art bursts with satirical energy and passionate ambivalence, confronting the viewer with the charged emotions and abysses of pulsating metropolises.
