Yan Anikev is an artist based in Russia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. In addition, his art is featured in the permanent collections of the Museum of Olympic Glory and the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University Museum in Russia. In Anikev's striking compositions typography and hidden messages play a vital role. Though he transforms the text into abstraction (making it unreadable), the energy and meaning of the words are preserved.
