Yasmany Alfonso

My name is Yasmany and as a Christian, I believe that each photograph is the perpetuation of an instant of time spoken by God Himself. The Holy Spirit presents the world with a specific order, intent, voice, and my role is simply to persist these moments so they remain available for this generation and the generations to come. Because of this foundation, I do not believe I intrinsically generate, have or seek inspiration; rather, it is something I receive to show the world as a collection of moments reciting the words of the Creator resounding from the moment He said “let there be light”. From that foundation the gift I received has a very straightforward goal: to present the world we see through the lens of the Word Of God.
