« My hypercollages serve as records of natural splendor, perpetually in motion. »
Ysabel LeMay is a prize-winning photographer based in Texas who has exhibited her work internationally in places like Sweden, Canada, the UK and US. After 15 years spent working in the advertising industry, she turned her attention to painting and photography in search of a more rewarding career path. Today, LeMay composes works created using her original technique: hypercollage. Herein, she builds baroque tableaux that reflect the majesty of nature as witnessed during her many photographic expeditions across the globe. LeMay's finished works are the result of a meticulous, high-tech approach that nonetheless affects a powerful sense of raw emotion and resplendent beauty.
