« I believe every artwork should be aesthetically pleasing and entertaining, carry some deeper meaning, and give the viewer a chance to peek into somewhere beyond our real-world and understanding. »
Zhenya Hitrova is a Russian painter and draftsman whose works have been widely exhibited in Shanghai, China. Throughout the years, her love of symbols, puzzles, and the unknown have evolved into whimsical illustrations and interpretations of her own mythology. In her art, Hitrova portrays moments in the lives of people, animals, and fantastical creatures in our high-tech world. She also employs various geometric symbols, numbers, and words in Russian, English, and Chinese.
