About this artwork
Twice I Know is a complex and baroque work, full of excesses, with a universe rich in nuances, shapes and strokes, which invites us to lose ourselves in an endless journey in which we discover small characters, spots of colour, letters, graphics, all of them at the service of a crazy and balanced composition. It is worth noting that it is covered with a layer of epoxy resin. The work has been a finalist in two competitions, the Salvador Soria Competition… in Benissa, Alicante, and the International Painting Competition in the City of Hellín, Albacete, and finally it has won the second prize in the XXXIX Vila de Puçol Painting Competition, being acquired by the city council.
« My commitment to art is the sublimation of the insides and scars, the objectification of what we cannot explain in words, and the praise of uncertainty. »
