Chaos and order; death and life... Everyone is well aware of these opposits, as our lives are accompanied by a struggle through them.

The place where new life comes into our world burns as a glowing source in the harsh reality. Its swirling power sweeps away every cold, every stay. Almost incomprehensible, irresistible. With the creation of life, joy and hope move into our hearts.

As many as we live on this Earth, we all imagine differently the… eternal struggle of creation, and we find different places for ourselves among the chaos and order. What these concepts mean, what thoughts and emotions they evoke - this characterizes and positions everyone in human communities. How significant, however, how difficult it is to express our emotions verbally! It can provide us with tremendous strength and endurance if we never forget the ancient struggle of chaos and order, death and life. What a wonderful opportunity to depict the world of creation with the tools of painting!

Éva Szakács is a prize-winning Hungarian artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited on a national level. Through the classic themes of landscapes, floral still-lifes, and cityscapes, she places importance on the fact that humans are also part of nature. In addition, Szakács' diverse compositions reflect her fascination with light, colors, moods, and reflected water surfaces. She creates using oils on canvas or wood.
