About this artwork

Dancing has been a hobby of mine for many years. Twelve years ago I found the perfect partner for it, who is also my partner in my private life. Although my body doesn't always obey as I would like, I feel the power and momentum of the music inside and try to express it in my movements. Maximum attention to my partner is essential, and when a moment of harmony is created between the music, my partner and myself, it is a euphoric experience. So much… so, that I seek to recreate this in my painting. I recall the experience and reproduce it on the painter's board. I apply the dense paint with a dynamic, energetic movement, using not so much a brush as a painting knife. I am only interested in the figures for the energy of the movement.
