About this artwork
This lyrical abstract is ambiguous in nature as it calls out to the beholder to derive meaning in an unrestrained manner. For me as the creator, it invokes feelings of freedom and ecstasy as the white colored wings take flight into the unknown . The flow that comes from letting go is breathtaking and calming at the same time. The brilliant use of colors and mixed media add so much to the character creating a Mesmerizing Masterpiece !

While her inspiration springs from anywhere, she remains completely captivated by nature and its beauty. Bartake's vibrant and varied abstract compositions also contain elements of realism. She creates with acrylics because of their versatility and uses paper, foil, cloth, wedges, a palette knife, and threads to apply the paint onto canvas.
