About this artwork
In this expressionist painting, I explored the delicate interplay of light and texture with acrylics on canvas, seeking to capture the beauty of flowers bathed in soft, ethereal sunlight.
The brushstrokes are bold yet tender, conveying both the fragility and the resilience of nature. The colours - soft blues, whites, and hints of peach—merge to create a sense of tranquillity and peaceful contemplation, offering a sanctuary from the bustling world.… It's an invitation to pause, reflect, and find comfort in beauty.
Aase Lind is a painter living and working in Denmark. She has previously completed courses at the School of Arts in Denmark where she was personally mentored by Henrik Hoffmann. Her semi-abstract paintings depict landscapes or floral still lifes, often using impossible colors to heighten the intensity of her subject matter.
