A billion tulips were produced last year globally. Most of them were from the Netherlands, where the tulip mania, or the skyrocketing value of tulips, first occurred.
Two layers of paint in each section, painted separately and individually. No paint is used direct from the tube, all are custom mixed high quality acrylic pigments.
Landscape includes roads and water channels. Has a layer of protective isolation coat between pigments and removable,… brush-applied varnish.
This composition required careful measurements and skillful handling of tools and pigments to achieve the desired effect of colours constrained to crisp straight lines. The divisions between the sections are straight and quite visible, as are the brush strokes. They often catch the light, and when they do, highlight the sections surrounding it.
Quality materials are used to ensure longevity: This painting should last for many decades if properly maintained.
