Environmental deterioration is evidence, this work is the counterpoint. Inverness is a wonderful landscape for me, where the coast of Scotland is presented in its splendor, haunting and cold. The mystery of Ness, the rain and the grays consolidate a calm and hopeful beauty; an oasis of conservation of uniform harmony despite the abruptness of some of its places. I would love to live there, paint there.
