In this piece, I blend texture and form to evoke a powerful contrast between light and shadow, life and stillness. Also using a frame I layered wood to create a sense of a white space that my lower body, whilst sitting and contemplating, pierced into. The tactile relief invites you to feel the weight of emotion and the geometric shapes create a symbolic dialogue.
