Adriana Lashley manages to interpret, translate and finally capture the rhythms, feelings and melodies of the songs that make her vibrate the most, due to its depth and musical quality. In this collection, She was inspired by the title song of the famous Wong Kar Wai movie "In The Mood For Love" (Yumeji's Theme) by Shigeru Umebayashi. She tells us a little about it: "I don't know if you know that every painting that I paint I do it always listening…
to the same song, many times obviously the name of the painting ends up being the name of that song. Shigeru Umebayashi manages to make me vibrate in the frequency adapted to produce these artworks "

Adriana Lashley is an artist based in Italy whose works have been exhibited in her native Venezuela. The central theme in her art is the creation of beauty, and it is her goal to transmit positive emotions as well as inner healing to viewers. Almost all of her paintings are abstract and many of them minimalist and quite geometric, although there are exceptions, where everything is very organic with surreal touches. Most of them are made in acrylic on canvas—others in oil.
She only paints what she feels, not theories, not analysis, not thoughts. What attracts her about art is that it is completely free and it will always be fine anyway. Adriana graduated in graphic design, where everything has a precise, logical, and studied purpose, to the point of coming to seem like a science, where she has learned to appreciate function and freedom. This is why she loves both, but in art, she is free.
