About this artwork
I imagine there are signals in the Universe that concern us, interstellar sounds that can reach us through the ether, the atmosphere. Sound waves, frequencies that propagate and break down into seven different timbres, the last of which is equal to white light. Seven days of the week, seven nearest planets, seven refractions of the rainbow, seven notes, seven chakras... and seven echoes that I imagine.

Adriana Montali primarily uses acrylic on canvas, but also experiments with wood, cardboard, ceramic, and textured materials, drawing on her training as an art teacher and extensive artistic education. Her "really abstract" technique blends informal abstraction, spatula strokes, scratches, plants, and gold leaf, creating works that dialogue between reality and transfiguration. Her works invite the viewer on an inner journey and a search for meaning, conveying a profound desire to go "beyond," toward personal awareness and the infinite.
