About this artwork
This work from the "Unfolding" series unfolds in gentle transitions and multi-layered textures. Delicate nuances of sage green, lilac, and warm pink tones overlap, intensifying in places and dissolving again in others. This creates a quiet rhythm of movement and stillness, reminiscent of organic growth.
The horizontal orientation reinforces this feeling of fluidity – like a moment that expands without being captured. Structures emerge, disappear… again, and leave room for interpretation.
"Serenade" is both quiet and present: a painting that is not loud, but fills the space with a subtle, atmospheric depth. It invites the viewer to discover new details again and again and to linger within it at their own pace.

“Inbetween” explores the tension between structure and dissolution, balance and movement. Through a process of searching, layering, and reducing, pictorial spaces emerge in which opposites are allowed to coexist.
“Unfolding” shifts the focus towards letting go, memory, and quiet movement. Forms and color spaces unfold without a fixed motif, developing in the painting process and deliberately remaining open. Works emerge as visual spaces between presence and disappearance.
The "Embered" series is evolving towards density and presence: away from decorative motifs, towards pictorial states that occupy space and have an effect without volume.
