View all bestsellersAdriane Dworzak from Oldenburg (Germany) works at the intersection of intuition, perception, and space. Her artistic development has led her to an increasingly free, process-oriented style of painting. Inner states become visible. The following series of works are central to her current work:
“Inbetween” explores the tension between structure and dissolution, balance and movement. Through a process of searching, layering, and reducing, pictorial spaces emerge in which opposites are allowed to coexist.
“Unfolding” shifts the focus towards letting go, memory, and quiet movement. Forms and color spaces unfold without a fixed motif, developing in the painting process and consciously remaining open. Works emerge from a state of observation and breathing – as visual spaces between presence and disappearance.
Currently, the work is moving further towards densification and presence: away from the decorative motif, towards pictorial states that occupy space and have an effect without noise.
