Adzer van der Molen is a Dutch artist whose paintings have been exhibited both in the Netherlands and Spain. His postmodern landscapes are symbolically layered in which isolated construction represents human endeavor. In Van der Molen's compositions, hopeful expectation collides with the melancholy of forlorn dreams, lost ideals, and alienation. However, they are also reflective, romantic, and ironic, with titles garnered from imagery and song lyrics.
