About this artwork
I try to be where I can observe dynamic processes. That is why I live in the capital city and spend my vacation time by the seaside. Even though, these two locations are very different, I’m very much drawn to both. I often take inspiration from observing people and nature there.
One of the main, and for a long time consistently expanding topics in my art, is birds. In this particular artwork I create an illusion of stopped motion by capturing a… flying seagull in the background of horizontal brush strokes. When perceiving the dynamics of this artwork, the observer should experience a sensation of speed and wind resistance.
The visual motif of the painting corresponds to the chosen medium of acrylic paint which dries quickly.

Her pieces are inspired by themes such as consumerism and artificial beauty, playing with elements of pop art to explore both.
