About this artwork
This piece captures the haunting blend of memory and imagination. The vintage black-and-white portraits symbolize stories frozen in time, while the vibrant, playful pop-art elements bring whimsy and life to the scene. Using acrylics, I aimed to evoke nostalgia intertwined with surreal joy, inviting viewers to explore how past and present coalesce in our minds—infusing any space with a mysterious yet uplifting energy.

Agnieszka Banasiak T studied in 2010 at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Faculty of Fine Arts - major: Artistic Education in the field of visual arts). In 2015, she began artistic studies in Drawing Media and obtained the title of Master of Arts in 2015. The artist received the first nomination for the Janusz Bogucki medal for her diploma. In 2017, she graduated from the Jagiellonian College, specialization in special education with revalidation. The artist is a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists of the Toruń District
