About this artwork
The Yoga poses series was created when I was learning to walk again after breaking my metatarsal. Yoga practice helped me regain my mental and physical health. The series of paintings are thoughts referring to asanas.
Vrksasana literally means “Tree Pose.” It teaches us stability and gives us contact with the earth. In this position, you should keep your eyes open during practice to better balance.
