About this artwork
In creating this sculpture I explored the fusion of everyday objects with precious materials such as gold leaf and terracotta. There is an expressive duality: the simplicity of ready-made objects contrasted with the elaboration of the ceramic assembly. The work was created spontaneously when two objects, taken in different places, and apparently very far away, merged into a single solution of meaning: "the roof is sky..." The vault bears small traces…
of stars and traces of gusts of wind and a key... of vault(!) or celestial... In your space, it will bring a sense of reflection on the beauty hidden in the shapes and materials of every day. The work is also, when necessary, a small container, a jewel holder, hidden under the celestial vault.
