This photograph represents a visual dialogue between old and new, tradition and innovation. Two chairs, one antique and the other modern, one static, the other in motion, each with its own value and beauty. I chose to capture this contrast to inspire the viewer to reflect on the importance of appreciating different perspectives. The first chair's lack of armrests perfectly integrates the accompanying means of physical exercise, albeit static, in… a spontaneous spatial synchrony, highlighted by everyday gestures. The work brings an energy of contemplative harmony to the domestic environment, leading one to observe how a simple gesture can also produce humor from everyday circumstances.
