About this artwork
Inspired by the weather this work is an abstracted splash of rising water. Though loosely based by water, it's departure from this water theme is a spontaneous inspiration in the act of creating, as are all the works in this series. It is mixed media on canvas and all the edges are painted. It is wired and ready to hang. It is nicely textured with a craquelure (paint cracks) and the surface has added pieces of screen mesh atop of the canvas.

Al Razza is an experienced artist from the United States whose paintings have received national exposure.
