Ala' Hamameh is a Syrian painter, photographer, and draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited in both nations, as well as in Lebanon, Italy, France, Turkey, the Netherlands, Malta, and Switzerland. While Syria was "the cradle of his spirit", the land of his childhood, and the place which all of the themes of his artwork are rooted, Hamameh appreciates Germany as a center for progressive trends.
