About this artwork
Cardboard and metal. Work on recovery media. The happy marriage of cardboard and scrap metal enhances the vibrations and energies that an expression generates. It is less a portrait than a look, an emotion where no room is left for pretense or simulation.
Table weighing 6.6 kg with hanging system on the back, cardboard box with its metal case dimensions of 72cmx72cm, requires no framing.

Albert Hartweg
France
« My red thread is light. It can be brightness, sparkle, atmosphere but also radiation, energy, and the reflection of the soul. »
Albert Hartweg is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium and Germany. For him, libraries and bookstores are doors to other dimensions. They are labyrinths in which Hartweg's mind wanders, wanders from discovery to discovery, drawing him towards dreams. In addition, he believes that newspapers and cardboard are also part of these "inhabited universes", which has lead him to use them as artistic supports.
